Description: We are India (TN) based looking to outsource our requirement of Software Development Service. We are looking for implementation of a feasible and scalable Enterprise Resource Planning solution.
Scope:
1. The scope of work primarily consists of:
a. Providing and installing ERP package and related software licenses
b. Implementation of ERP
c. Suggest suitable Hardware specifications and assist us in procurement of necessary Hardware to implement the ERP solution.
2. The expected number of User Licenses are 490 ERP users and in addition the other sub systems users will be employee payroll, employee self service portal, Internet based Customer Portal, Internet based Vendor Portal, Product Mix Optimizer and Business Intelligence. The details of these users will be available in the tender.
3. Functional Scope: The functions covered in the ERP project are Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management & Sales, Materials Management, Production Management, Quality Management, Projects Management and Plant Maintenance.
4. We aim to implement ERP in two phases in such a manner that it starts using certain modules from the date of first go live. The details of the Implementation are as below.
a. Implementation of Phase-I modules (Material Management, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Costing, Production, Plant Maintenance, Quality management, Core Human Resource & Projects) across all locations and Design & Testing of Phase – II modules - Expected to go live Within 11 months from the date of award of contract.
b. Implementation of Phase-II modules (Sales Product Mix Planning Optimizer, Payroll, Customer and Vendor Portal for Customers and Vendors respectively, Business Intelligence, advanced HR processes like competency management, succession management and Self Service HR portal for employees) across all locations - After Phase-I stabilization, Go Live within 16 months.
5. ERP Implementation Partner shall be able to supply & install all of the following:
a. ERP Product and related software licenses
b. ERP implementation services, including related process improvements, data conversion, Interfaces, customizations etc
6. Service Provider will be responsible for implementation of an integrated ERP Solution. Service Provider will nominate Project Director/ Program Manager, Project Manager and Track Leaders who will be responsible for managing the deliverables in their respective areas. A company has been retained by us to provide Program Management Services during the implementation.
This is an on shore and off site tender. The EMD is 5,00,000 INR. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than May, 14, 2010, 5:00 PM by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
